Brewer's dried yeast is a natural product with a high protein content (up to 50%), minerals and B vitamins. Brewer’s dried yeast is used in the production of a wide range of fodders. They are also widely used in the food industry and pharmacology.
Dry spent grain is a high-protein feed supplement (protein content from 24% to 30%). It is widely used in domestic livestock breeding, poultry, pig breeding, fish farming as a natural feed supplement. In addition to protein and fiber, contains substances necessary for the animal body – calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium, sodium, iodine, carotene, fatty acids, vitamins: E, B1, B2, B4, B5. The digestibility of dry spent grain by animals is close to 80%.

In its liquid form (75-82% moisture content), its nutrient components have a high degree of digestibility. The availability of raw spent grain in the diet of animals improves the taste of food, and amino acids contribute to better digestion. As a consequence, feeding efficiency increases, resulting in an increase in weight gain (young and fattened animals) and an increase in milk yield (milk flock). Microelements and vitamins, largely present in a raw spent grain, favorably influence at the general condition of animals.
In order to keep fresh spent grain as quality fodder, it must be properly silage and preserve. The technology of spent grain storage is a bit more complicated than other types of silage because spent grain have high humidity and low amount of sugars which are necessary for preservation. However, if you will stick to our recommendations, you won't have any problems with preserving this feed.
